WebAs an FYI, we ordered an ‘18 TRD Off Road Premium with only KDSS & Sunroof with a lifetime drivetrain warranty & paid less than $3,000 off MSRP. As this is for my 74yo Mom who lives halfway across the country we also got the Toyota Extra Care Vehicle Service Agreement (VSA)-Platinum Warranty 8yr/125,000miles for $1,500. WebJul 31, 2024 · FYI, Consumer Reports does not recommend an extended warranty on any car. But for a reliable Toyota, I would think not for sure. I tend to agree... but I expect they make that decision based on "sticker price" for those extended contracts. Some dealers have them for just under $2k on up to $4k.
