WebJan 22, 2024 · I have used a Hardy Zenith for years and it is a great click and pawl reel I used it on 7 - 9 wt single hand rods primarily. I caught Atlantic salmon, sea trout, and brown trout and it always performed well with no issues. My dad had a Hardy Marquis which is also good but with a much louder drag could hear the reel for what seemed liked miles.
