Let go when you see the Apple logo. Your phone should be fine now. If not, let me know and Ill suggest other steps. WebHowever, today, I connected them to my iPhone, and I got the same black screen for 20+ seconds, where the iPhone was unresponsive, and "Hey Siri" wouldn't work from the Airpods until the iPhone kicked back to life.
